Jean-Michel Jarre, chose his upcoming destination to be Masada where his unique and specially conceived concert-event aims to raise international awareness of the Dead Sea's dire situation.
Masada historical site will transform for one single night to encapsulate a futuristic ambience, introducing a most complex state-of-the-art production devised to transport the audience on a once-in-a- lifetime experience.
A team of over a hundred international and local professionals is working on the creation and
delivery of this upcoming concert under the meticulous direction of Jarre and his unique vision.

Concert Site, Nature's Cultural Hall at Masada
The site will take the shape of a futuristic landing strip & hub, with fully equipped separated seating & dancing levels, enveloping the stage, each offering an exclusive service and priced differently while providing best possible viewing angles. It required over a year of design and development by the joint production team of leading Israeli professionals and Jarre's own crew while exploring the site to prepare for this one-off concert-spectacular
Stage
Jean-Michel Jarre brings forth innovation and cutting edge technology. The state-of-the-art design of the 3,280 square feet theme stage sets an ambitious construction challenge. Intricate stage setting, special effects, panoramic sound system, choreography of powerful lasers & lights will transport the audience with Jarre’s music played live from the central stage: the lunar landscape of Masada & The Dead Sea will need to be seen to be believed.

The charter buses are an exclusive service for Jean-Michel Jarre's event attendees, powered by Fanzone. Fanzone operates transportation platforms for large-scale events.
The charter buses will depart from the following cities: Acre, Qiryat Bialik, Qiryat Motzkin,Haifa, Hadera, Netanya, Kfar Yona, Raanana, Ramat Hasharon, Herzliya, Tel Aviv, Bat Yam, Holon, Rishon Lezion, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Be'er Sheva, blades, Modi'in, Jerusalem.

The concert is located at the foot of Masada mountain, access via route 90 only at the south side of the mountain. Please do not use road 3199 trough Arad, the road leads to the other side of Masada with no passageway to the concert.

SAVING THE DEAD SEA
The legendary artist, Jean-Michel Jarre, has joined the fight to save the Dead Sea. Jean-Michel Jarre has worked endlessly in the endeavour to raise awareness of environmental issues worldwide
Through his spectacular, exclusive musical performances, Jean-Michel succeeds in creating an agenda of commitment and devotion from thousands of people. As an ambassador of UNESCO, he has chosen to dedicate a one-off event at the Cultural Hall at the foothills of Massada in order to raise the awareness of the plight of the Dead Sea.
The Dead Sea is the lowest place on the earth’s surface and is rich in natural resources and unique phenomena. Despite this, the level of the sea drops on average, annually, over one metre. This is mainly due to human interference. The Dead Sea is disappearing along with the natural phenomena that surrounds the lake. Sinkholes, that are parallel to none in the world, present a threat to the existing life in the area. Only by raising public awareness on an international level can the decline of the Dead Sea be stopped.
The Tamar Regional Council has, for years, been the leader in the fight to raise awareness of the condition of the Dead Sea. The council co-operates with environmental organizations in research and development, advances government recognition of the impending catastrophe and much more.
In addition, the council promotes major cultural events, like musical performances and sporting events that create maximum exposure to the global public and even participates in international competitions such as the ‘New Wonders of the World’.
